History of Royal Railway

Royal Railway Plc. (formerly known as Royal Railway Co., Ltd.) is a public limited liability company incorporated in Cambodia. Established in 2006, the company initially operated under Registration No. Co. 2874/06E issued by the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). Subsequently, in 2015, it received approval from the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) as a Qualified Investment Project (QIP), obtaining a new Registration No. Inv. 0643KH/2014. The company's registered office is located at the Central Railway Station in Phnom Penh.

Recent Developments:

Name Change: On June 2nd, 2022, shareholders agreed to
change the company name from Royal Railway Co., Ltd. to Royal Railway Plc. This change reflects the company's transition to a public entity.
Ownership Update: A minor share transfer took place in June 2022. Inter Logistics (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. transferred 1.0001% of the company's ordinary shares to Neak Oknha Kith Meng.
Public Offering: Marking a significant step, the company issued its first corporate bonds in late 2022 (October 10th and December 23rd). As of December 31st, 2022, the carrying value of these two bonds stands at US$33,888,669 (equivalent to KHR90,200,000,000). This development signifies the company's utilization of the public market for financing, following the conclusion of its tax holiday period in 2018

History of the Company

The King's Coach is a symbol of elegance and luxury within the Royal Railway, exclusively reserved for the use of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni.
